DJJS Highlighted Need to Identify Real ‘Self’ at a Session in Central Jail Ambala, Haryana

"Human body is the temple of God" goes the saying that echoed inside the boundaries of Central Jail Ambala on 19th September 2016. Acceding to the special request of prison authorities, Antarkranti organized one day motivational session at Central Prison Ambala, Haryana.

Antarkranti is a social program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) which is targeted towards rehabilitation of jail inmates so that they can also lead a respectable and spiritual life once out of the jail. DJJS is spearheaded by Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji who is working tirelessly towards the uplift of society irrespective of caste, religion, social or economic status. The program was presided over by Swami Abhedanand Ji and Swami Premprakashanand Ji, preacher disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Almost 100 inmates attended the program, ingesting the words of wisdom.

The preachers discussed at length about the Human Body that is considered to be the highest level of creation because of the level of consciousness that comes with it, the ultimate purpose of life being born a human and the duties and responsibilities it carries along. The concept of Atman within perishable body was discussed and stressed upon. ‘Brahm Gyan’, an ancient technique of meditation was suggested as the remedy for the soul so that it is connected with the Supreme all the time. Just the way mobile works only when battery is charged, this machinery works properly when it is connected with the Supreme charger all the time.

Menace of drug abuse was also discussed in length. The scale at which the problem has grown and the harm it is causing to society was put forward. Complete eradication of this problem is the way to a better world. It was unanimously concluded that Brahm Gyan can help to eradicate this problem forever so that a peaceful and respectable life can be lead.

The program concluded with the vote of thanks by the prisons staff, Ambala, Haryana.
